Familiarisation with the microscope. Observing natural objects under various magnifications. Developing observation skills through comparing microstructures. Keeping a “science journal”: sketching what you see and describing observations. Working in groups: joint research and exchanging hypotheses. Throughout the week, children will care for two live turtles and observe the development of snail eggs, creating additional opportunities to develop empathy and attentiveness. These processes are organically integrated into daily observations and discussions related to life cycles, microenvironments, and caring for living things.
