Ivan Filchev

Ivan Filchev holds an MA in Dance from ZHdK Zurich and spent sixteen years as a soloist and ensemble dancer at the Bolshoi Theatre. As Head of the Choreographic Department at the Swiss Music School, he emphasises professional discipline, technical clarity, and the Vaganova tradition. Ivan views ballet as “the union of art and discipline” and is dedicated to passing on these rich traditions to the next generation.
