Roots Of Sound: Spring

Four-hand piano, magical sounds, and images celebrate the awakening of nature. An immersive journey through the notes of Vivaldi and contemporary jazz improvisations. We engage with adults and children through song, rhythm, and body percussion, transforming music into a living experience—created and breathed together.

Four-hand piano, instruments with magical timbres, voice as an instrument, and images bring to life the awakening of nature as music. An immersive concert that intertwines the roots of the past with the sounds of the present: starting with Vivaldi's famous atmospheres, we are transported into a contemporary evolution of jazz rhythms and improvisations.

Roots of Sound – Spring is not just a moment of listening, but an immersive experience based on the principles of Edwin Gordon's Music Learning Theory, where children learn music as they learn language—through a rich, varied, and complex vocabulary, in a judgement-free and stimulating environment.

We will:

  • Transform the great classics into moments of improvisation, where rhythm becomes playful and musical surprise lies behind every note.
  •
  • Feel the energy and warmth of American spirituals, warming the heart and inviting both adults and children to flow with their bodies to the rhythm of the music.
  •
  • Engage with children and parents through rhythmic, tonal, and body percussion approaches.

A tip for adults: let your children be free to move, crawl, or vocalise. Theirs is “Audiation” in motion. Your only job: enjoy the music with them and become part of this magical circle of sound.

Happy listening, and happy springtime!
